Counselling and Psychotherapy
Individual Psychotherapy
In the safe and confidential space of individual psychotherapy, you'll have the opportunity to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours in-depth. I will work closely with you to identify the root causes of your struggles, empowering you to develop effective coping strategies and gain a deeper understanding of yourself.

I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship, and will collaborate with you to create a personalised space that fosters resilience, self-acceptance, and positive change.
I currently work with clients face to face and online over Zoom.

What I can
help with

I have experience in working with a wide variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship problems, self-esteem, identity, loss, and particularly bereavement.
I'm dedicated to exploring any issues you may encounter for as long as you need, whether that's over the short term or the longer term.

I continue to learn and develop new tools and approaches to support the unique needs of my clients.
Book a free initial consultation

An essential aspect of the therapy process is finding a therapist you feel comfortable working with, I therefore offer a free 30 minute initial consultation to give you an opportunity to determine if we are a good fit and to answer any questions you may have.

My name is Tim Lockley
I’m a qualified and BACP registered psychotherapist offering in person and online sessions with individuals. My focus is on creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. I believe in the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients, and I work collaboratively with them to help identify and address their unique needs and challenges.
My Approach
My approach is relational, informed by both psychodynamic and person centred theories, which means that I draw from a wide body of theory, exploring how our pasts influence our presents, as well as what is happening in the 'here and now'. I will work with you to help you gain insight, awareness, and understanding of yourself and your situation, and to support you to find better strategies for leading a more functional and ultimately more fulfilling life.
